Another week, another comic. This one was supposed to be the ending to last week's comic, as I already said in the notes for last week's comic (were you paying attention?) but I think it works much better as a stand-alone. Last week's doesn't as much, but man, that's last week. Who even remembers that?
I had some snafus with the balloons diagramation, so they ended up taking up way more space than they should have (up). I still like the overall result, though. I should have done this in Photoshop, which allows me to change fonts in a single text layer (one of the few things it has that GIMP lacks) but my computer has been having Xtreme slowness spurs lately and my completely original and not at all bootlegged copy of very much bought with money and not at all installed from a nondescript ugly CD Photoshop wouldn't fire up. It turned up fine, just a lot more work for the same end result.
Sam is very different from the other character in which the real life Sam approached me and asked to be on the comic, whereas the other guys answered a "HAI GUYS IM MAEKIN A COMIC PLZ JOIN" call from me. We worked the details on the character together. Well, it was more like we both threw details at each other and happened to agree to everything. I love the end result, though, and Sam is one character I'll want to use a lot in the future.
... oh shit. I completely forgot about the gun he carried on his back until this very moment. Um, it's missing because, it got, er, um, THIS IS NOT THE COMIC ARTIST YOU ARE LOOKING FOR *disappears*
*reappears* Oh, and while I'm at it, forget about my abuse of the word 'well'. *redisappears*
