On the 17th, I had a great idea for a comic to put up right after the hiatus. The problem was, it referenced the hiatus, so it needed to be done that week. It was also quite long, but I thought I could put it up on time.
Later, I realized a lot of shit happened on the 17th, and that comic was just more shit waiting to happen. So I did the comic I had planned to come out of the hiatus with since the beginning. There it is.
Some facts about the comic. I'm getting tired of drawing Liz's wings. She must have a way to retreating them since she can pass of as a normal being. I even thought of not drawing them in the comic and explaining here, but it'd look like I just forgot to draw them. I didn't, but if she ever shows wingless in the future, here's why.
Something that is missing from the comic above, though, is the colours in tee's tee. (badabam.) That, too, is not because I forgot. Rather, I thought tee was just too damn colourful. Most of the characters have colour only in their hair, a piece of clothing, or neither. tee was the only to have both. The reason Zach has a blueish shirt is because he looked to plain next to tee. I thought no one was winning anything from the colours in tee's shirt, so didn't color them. The fact that he is blonde is more important that the colours in his shirt, unless you think it's totally the wrong kind of flower, like a daisy. It's not a daisy.
My overall impression on this comic: It's got a lot of small errors, but it's cool, and I feel not drawing anything for two months didn't shrink my drawing skills much (maybe because there wasn't much to shrink anyway). Still, I wish I had an artist do the drawing for me - it's the only part of the comicmaking process I find difficulty in.
Next week, the comic originally planned for today. Hey, I said it was a great idea.
