Just Keep Waling and Pretend This Never Happened

I'm serious. I'm just coming back from a two-month hiatus, and I feel that the best way to proceed is to pretend it never happened at all.
If you want to know, here are to reasons for this hiatus:
Both of those reasons are true, but also neither is. One of them is completely forgivable, while other will destroy all my (little) comic artist cred. Choose the one you think is correct - it's trickier than it seems.
In case neither is acceptable to you, here's a third one that's a complete lie (but accounts for at least one week's worth of delay, which is like 12%): I'm almost done with the cast page. It should be up tomorrow, unless I'm very sleepy.

I should have put up a new comic today. I didn't. I didn't even do anything towards putting it up. I remain adamant that it'll be up tomorrow against all odds.
You may think this new Friday schedule isn't working out, but the truth is that the holidays, instead of giving me more time to work, give me more time to be lazy. However, I'll switch it to Saturdays, since even if I meet my Friday deadlines the comic'll be up so late you'll be better off checking on Saturday anyway.
New Year, New News

Happy New Year, dudes and girl dudes. I finally set up the archive I was planning on put up, and moved all the news up to now to its own news archive page. 'Cause it's all last year and stuff. I also removed the lame excuse from the characters page. Now it's a lame .gif image that I really worked on.
I also created a .gif banner in case you guys want to post it somewhere so everyone knows about this cool webcomic you read that will totally be the next VG Cats.
